Lamyia Good is a mother, wife, actress, singer, entrepreneur, and revolutionist for young women. Originally from Los Angeles, CA Lamyia has established her voice of purpose filled with love, living and constructive abundance to uplift and help the next generation find their purpose. Lamyia is the epitome of a “Cali Girl “and established her celebrity status at the young age of seven years old. Lamyia began her stardom with national commercials, and soon after elevated to television. She has starred in popular shows, such as; Sister Sister, ER, Judging Amy, Smart Guy, The Parkers, and many more. She later persuaded a career in films, starring in movies such as; The Wood, Charlie, Trevar and a girl named Savannah, Act Like You Love Me, Crossed the Line, most recently Video Girl.
Lamyia is also no stranger to the music industry being signed to one of the largest record labels in the early-mid 2000's; ARISTA RECORDS as a member in the R&B singing group ISYSS. Her group was handpicked by none other than LA Reid himself to join the Label. ISYSS traveled all around the world doing shows with some of the top artists in the game such as Usher, P Diddy & many more. They worked with many top producers as well such as Pharrell, Brian Michael Cox & Shakespeare to name a few. Recently Lamyia dove into a new entertainment endeavor touring on the Hit Stage play " Married but Single " as the sassy supporting Lead TINA. This coming October 2017 Lamyia will join the cast of the new hit series on E! The Platinum Life: The Elite Women of Hip-Hop. The series will premiere Sunday, October 15 at 10|9c on E! where Lamyia will bring a passionate and uplifting flare to the next generation of women.
Lamyia’s life is a consistent representation of self-determination and self-love; and her purpose helped to create her non-profit organization “The Greater Good,” which she co-founded with her sister Meagan Good. The Greater Good was designed to ignite passion and purpose help serve the next generation of women with opportunities, resources and support across the globe. The Greater Good is currently running a program with the Compton School District through their partnership with Hitting the Right Note – a program that teaches educational values through the arts. Lamyia uses her celebrity status as a platform for visibility in living a life of purpose to inspire others and travel the country speaking to young women at workshops and conferences.
